We can announce that DNA Heritage will be back up and running this Saturday (3rd of April) with a much larger panel of Y-chromosome markers. We have searched for and found an excellent facility to perform our Y-chromosome tests and solves the problem we had had with late deliveries from the University genetics lab we were using previously – and also more than doubles the number of markers we can now offer.
To re-launch, we will firstly be offering a full 43-marker test for just US$199.
This promotional price is the same to all our customers whether you order as an individual or as a group member. Our full 43-marker test allows you to compare yourself with existing Relative Genetics, FTDNA and Oxford Ancestors customers.
You can also search for genetic links at the Ybase, Ysearch, YSTR.org databases, as well as the new SMGF database. See our new list of markers at the bottom of this letter.
This full test allows you to get a great number of markers at a great price without the need to upgrade in the future. And all at a price only a little more than the cost of a mid-20's marker test at group discount prices!
We have 250 tests available at this price which we shall be selling on an individual basis. The small chart on our home page will indicate how many tests are available (updated daily).
During this promotional period we are only selling these promotional tests. We are busily re-organising our website behind the scenes ready to sell new products which we shall launch in several weeks time. In the meantime, grab this promotional offer whilst they are available! As an example, this works out at just US$4.63 per marker, compared with up to US$13.25 per marker for a 12-marker test – and brings the TMRCA down to just 4.0 generations (at a 50% CI). Compare our price with others at http://www.dnaheritage.com/compare.asp
We shall also be updating Ybase shortly to be able to accept these and other new markers.
Additionally, we are giving away 43-marker tests to 5 lucky winners EVERY MONTH in our prize draw. And if you do win and have already purchased a promotional test, we’ll even refund you! See our website at http://www.dnaheritage.com for more details.
